After entering the gate to Fossil Beach Farm at the end of Savoie Rd, a rustic access road twists and turns through old growth forests which are interspersed with spring board stumps showcasing the remnants of the pioneer logging days. The road makes a turn for the water through the fields where the cows graze revealing Fossil Beach. It was here where archeologists discovered a dinosaur and many amateur archeologists find their very first fossil. Fossil Beach Farm is truly a special place.

How To Get Here
Off of the ferry follow Shingle Spit Rd which will turn into Central Road for 4.2 Km. Look for the sign on Central and turn left on to Savoie Road. Drive down the dirt road until you come to the gate. Open and close the gate and turn right. Continue to drive until you see a second gate and then park near the cidery building.
There are free-range cattle meandering around so please close the gate.
