A Working Farm

Fossil Beach Farm is a working farm. We have cattle that may be in the area, as well as opossums (seen mostly at night), deer, Canadian geese, eagles, and many other types of birds. Please respect the wildlife both on and off the property.

Your Safety

The farm sits on high bank waterfront, please do not go close to the edge of the bank and stay behind fences. You will get hurt if you fall down the bank. Please use the marked beach access. Fossil Beach Farm is not responsible for any injuries that result for not following these directions.

Please follow the signs on the property, if it says do not enter it means there is a danger.

Our Pet Policy

For 2020 we no longer allow pets in any of our glamping tents. Pets are welcome for cider tasting on leash.

Fire, Smoking

Each tent comes with a propane fire pit for your enjoyment. A fire extinguisher is located at each tent. In the height of fire season we reserve the right to discontinue the use of fire pits. No beach fires are allowed. Smoking is only allowed in a designated area near the cidery building. Hornby is often in extreme fire hazard rating in the summer months please use extreme caution.

Families

Our farm welcomes children! First four tents are child friendly. Our Lanta tent is small but there is room for one child on the floor. Our Straddie and Cortez tents have room for two children. For these two tents you are required to bring your own floor bedding for the children. Our Flora tent has two queen sized beds to accommodate families. (Discovery, San Jaun, and Kowloon are Adult only).
